I had a very unique dream, and I am curious as to its meaning. (Should one believe that dreams have meanings)?

I am generally a questioning person, and I am fairly logical in my thought process. However, I do believe that dreams have meanings, and I hope someone could give me a meaning behind this.

I dreamed that I was on my way to a cool party with my friends. Everything went downhill from there. I found out my ex was going (A woman who after a 2 year relationship had a new boyfriend in two days) and also I seem to recollect that I may have murdered someone on the way to the party (reasons unknown). When I got to the house the party was supposedly at, it was a mix between several houses I have been to before (logical, because the brain will piece together random information during a dream). After pulling in I found myself in the backyard, looking through my windows, standing on one side of my jeep, at my ex, who passed by. That was incredibly awkward. Besides that, she was never again to reappear in my dream. Then, I went into the house. It is here I discovered that we had a vampire infestation. A bunch of people were vampires, and they tried to control themselves but a few would randomly start chasing around non- vampire party goers. I was never bitten, but i saw other people bitten and become vampires. (none of whom i knew.) I ran from a few and escaped. I went outside to the fire out back (it is night time, I have forgotten to mention) And There were people there, just hanging out and enjoying the party. Then, I heard bombs. Stealth bombers started flying low over our area and dropping bombs everywhere. I was neither wounded nor my vehicle. None of the people I knew was either. After the bombers- some tanks rolled in and started firing off rounds. Everything started getting hazy after this. Could someone explain this? I know its a long read.
