I’ve had a couple of spontaneous astral projection episodes where i would get up to the side of my bed then i’d reappear back down in my body(on my bed), and do it over several times. and be freaked out because i was telling myself that I WAS awake, and I thought I’d be stuck forever in that loop.

That guest was William Buhlman. There is a Robert Bruce quote on the back of Buhlman’s second book, “Secret of the Soul”. Buhlman is definitely another go-to guy for OBE. And I think his theory about Nazca is correct actually. In fact it’s the only convincing theory I’ve heard so far. I wondered at the time I heard why no-one else had that from the shamans — or would they only trust the fellow-initiated?

Robert actually has a dedicated training school in the Astral Realm (in what seems to be an Astral version of Paris) – where he instructs people on all manner of things. I’ve been lucky enough to attend one of his classes there. The trick it seems is to focus all your consciousness on the Kundalini energy in the lower body and then move it upwards through the head and out of the body. Very profound…

That actually has been done before. Robert Monroe did this sort of experiment. I know the Monroe Institute does that sort of research.
Another way to do it is by trying out an experiment of this sort on your own. Project yourself, visit a friend without then knowing, scan his or her surroundings, look at the activities they may be doing, look at the surroundings, and upon re-entering get up write it all down. Then, talk to your friend about it.

There was another Coast to Coast Episode where the interviewed guest whos name escapes me at the moment describes his experience with peruvian shamans on the nasca plains who told him about how the drawings that could only be viewed from very high were tests for young trainee shamans who would have to leave their bodies and identify the image they were sitting in.

The Monroe Institute has conducted studies very similar to what you have described. Dr Tom Campbell speaks of these in his London lectures – which are over the tube.

Obviously, astral projection is not easy for all people to achieve . It is was, there would be no debating it’s validity. You still haven’t answered why if they can do it so easily, why not participate in a study. They would surely be able to sell alot more books. And enlighten many.The remote viewers have no problem doing example after example and one has the data to accept or debunk if they chose. Seems harmless for the astral projectors to do the same

If f you are mentioning Robert Bruce and others doing experiments successfully, why are you still asking for proof, and why don’t you try and find out for yourself by projecting? Seems like the best way would be to prove/disprove it for yourself.

I mean, Sam Parnia is doing an experiment with NDE’s trying to get people to read a sign on a ledge if they have an NDE. These are real scientists doing a study recognized by their peers. If these people can do astral travel so easily, why not do this. The debunkers will debunk. Who cares about that. There are many who would love to see proofs like this that would be a proof for them.

That sounds like a weak argument in my view. It would very simple to do for people that claim to be able to do this often, i.e. Robert Bruce. It would at the least provide enlightenment for people on the fence. And that would in turn get more to learn and become enlightened. It sounds rather weak to just say “we don’t need to try to give evidence” You don’t need to convince everyone, but it would go a long way to help the uninformed.

There is no reason to “debunk”, if any skeptics don’t think someone can project, they can either try it themselves or move along and go on with their life.
Its not up to someone who can project to “prove” they can, and anyone WHO can knows this.
